As a rule I believe process is more important than result, that working technique toward the goal is key. This weekend, at the Snowbasin Intermountain Division Championships, showed me that process provides consistency and result is the goal that comes from hard work.
Talise Larsh from the Snowbird Ski Team won the girls overall. Vivian Turner from Park City Ski Team won the GS. Kira Thomas from Ogden Valley Ski Team won the slalom. In Duals slalom, Kira won 1st, Talise won 2nd and MacKenzie Meirowitz won 3rd.
For years I have watched these four devoted alpine souls throw hundreds of hours down repeating fundamental movement patterns over and over and over.
