Muffin To It! Stress-Free Cooking for Busy Families. Open to all members and non-members at no cost.

Give your teen or young adult the ultimate life skill: kitchen confidence. Designed for teenagers or cooking while earning money babysitting, this interactive class teaches safe, independent cooking. Participants will master basic culinary techniques, food safety essentials, and simple, kid friendly recipes using everyday pantry staples. It’s the perfect way to build responsibility and delicious meals!

Facility Update:

The Flambeau River YMCA will be closed on Monday, 9/7/26 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Members with 24/7 access will have regular access with FOBs. Regularly scheduled Group Exercise classes on Monday will also be cancelled for the holiday.

We will reopen with our regular operating hours on Tuesday, 9/8. We hope that you have a safe, happy and healthy holiday!

New enrichment programs with scholarships available! 🎉

🎹 Piano - Small-group lessons for youth and adults, with no more than five students per class. Each participant will have their own keyboard to use during class. Classes are broken up by age.

🧵 Learn to Hand-Sew - A fun, hands-on introduction to basic sewing skills, with each class focusing on a different practical skill and project. This program is offered for youth in 3rd through 12th grade. An adult class may be added if there is interest.

Scholarships are available to help with the cost of these programs. The process is quick and approval is granted for 18 full months. To start this process, stop into the YMCA or email [email protected].

Exciting New Program!

With the 2026-2027 school year fast approaching, this fun & engaging program is fun for the whole family! Weekend tournaments & games coming up, Chef Laura has you covered!

A successful tournament weekend starts long before the first whistle blows. Athletes perform at their peak when they have balanced meals, consistent hydration, and the right snacks between games. But keeping a young athlete fueled shouldn't mean exhausting your energy or draining your wallet at the concession stand.

This class teaches families how to master the art of tournament meal prep. You will learn how to map out a weekend food schedule, pack coolers like a pro, and choose budget-friendly, nutrient-dense foods that keep both athletes and cheering sections energized from the first round to the championship game.

Due to the incredible generosity of Sanford Health Marshfield Clinic, their sponsorship of this program through the WPP Grant allows for this program to be at no-cost to attend!
