Laughlin race recap:
MAD MAN MAV IS BACK IN THE DESERT CAR! 🔥🏁

After last year’s race ended with a flip while running up front, this kid was ready for some redemption! Green flag dropped, and Mav was ON THE GAS! He found himself in lap traffic early and had a hard time getting around the slower cars as fast as he wanted. But once he found his way through, he was back in the mix and making moves!

Mav crossed the finish line with a 4th place out of 9 cars! 💪🏼 The car ran flawless, and now we know what we need to work on before the next one. Those passes are first on the list!

We love watching this kid get out there, push himself, and learn with every race. He’s got that competitive fire, that go-for-it attitude, and a whole lot of determination.

SO proud of our little man! He’s learning, he’s growing, and he’s just getting started. We can’t wait to see what this little ripper does next!

🇲🇽🏁 SADR MEXICO RECAP!

As we head out to another race, it’s probably time we recapped our last one!

Mexico was full of firsts for ALR! First race since Maisyn’s 170 was torn down to the bare frame, Maverick’s debut in his new 170, and Maisyn’s first time racing her new 570! The kids were stoked to hit the dirt in their freshly wrapped cars thanks to Five18 Designs, and MAN did they look good! 🔥

Maisyn kicked things off with a P3 in her first 170 heat, while Maverick was charging forward and making passes until a steering issue slowed him down. We had hoped to get him some seat time in the new car, but quickly realized we brought the wrong car for the job. Built for short course, it just wasn’t suited for the brutal desert terrain. That one’s on us. He pushed through, but the terrain eventually broke parts and ended his weekend early.

Maisyn jumped straight from her 170 into the new 570 for some seat time and had a blast! Back in the 170 for her second heat, a broken tie rod ended her race, leaving our girl heartbroken. After back-to-back races and 1.5 hours behind the wheel in the heat, we made the call to park the 570 for the remainder of the weekend so she could recover.

Not the finishes we hoped for, but that’s racing! 💪🏼 It was a solid shakedown for the new builds, a weekend full of lessons, and even better memories with family.

We’ll make the necessary repairs, learn from our mistakes, and Atteberry Legacy Racing will be back and ready for the next one! 🏁🔥

As we prepare to leave for our first race of the busy season, these kids are getting ready to miss the first of many days at school.

It’s a part of this life that people don’t always see.

Kids who don’t race don’t always understand why they’re gone so much, why they’re always busy, or why they can’t make every playdate, birthday party or weekend with friends.

Maisyn learned that one the hard way when a friend told her, “Friends should be more important than racing.”

That one stung.

Because when you’re a kid, words like that can feel really big.

But she’s also learned something much bigger: real friends don’t make you choose between them and your dreams. They support you while you chase them.

So yes, they’ll miss some school. They’ll miss parties. They’ll miss weekends at home. They’ll miss out on some of the “normal” kid stuff.

But they’re also building something that can’t be measured by a perfect attendance record.

They’re learning that dreams take work. That sacrifice comes with the territory. That being different doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. And that you don’t quit chasing something you love just because not everyone understands it.

While some kids are spending their weekends at birthday parties and playdates, these two are loading up, buckling in, and heading down the road chasing something bigger.

And someday, they’ll look back and remember the miles, the late nights, the early mornings, the wins, the losses, the breakdowns, the laughs, and all the memories made along the way.

Chasing their dreams.
One school absence at a time. 🏁

And honestly, we wouldn’t trade a single mile.

A little surprise showed up last night… and the kids were SO excited to find Alexia Leaming’s new team shirts!!! 🏁❤️

Of course, they had to wear them for Free Dress Friday today to show their support as Alexia takes on Vegas to Reno — the other way! 🔥🏁

One of the coolest things about racing is the people you meet along the way. Somehow, racing friends turn into family pretty quick, and we’re lucky to have some pretty awesome ones. 🤘🏼

Well… doesn’t our race team clean up nice?! 🤩

We had the best little staycation, and got to trade race gear for something a little fancier at the CORR End of the Year Championship Banquet! 🏆 We loved spending time with our racing friends and family and celebrating all of the champions who worked so hard this season! ❤️🏁

Such a fun way to wrap up another year of racing! 🤘🏼
