Parker Pioneers Inline Hockey Club

Hey Pioneers and youth inline hockey players in Colorado!

We have Pioneers players and families interested in playing in the Jr. PIHA season, which starts up in October and goes through February 2027. In every age group, 9U, 12U, and 15U, we have players who would love to play. We could use more players though, to round out these teams. If you are an inline hockey player in the Douglas County area and need a team, please reach out to us! We are based out of the Parker Fieldhouse.
This would be our first time in the Jr PIHA league. We start practicing for our normal competitive tournament season in January, so this is a great way to get some extra games in or “try us out” before a bigger commitment.

Hey Pioneers!
This is a reminder that our goalie clinics are coming up! We have two levels to support our potential goalies this next season.

There will be a beginner goalie session for players newer to the position. Maybe you’ve dabbled in goalie during a rec league and you want to learn a little more about the fundamentals. This one is for you!

There will also be an intermediate/advanced goalie session for returning Pioneers goalies or more skilled players from other clubs around the area. This clinic will refresh the fundamentals and add in plenty of extra challenges.

Our Pioneers Goalie Coach Tyler will be leading these clinics with support from our coaching staff. We really look forward to this small group time, building up the skills and confidence of young netminders. It’s such an important position.

Goalies ages 6-17 are welcome in either clinic.
Sundays, September 6, 13, 20 and October 4, 11, 18

Beginner 1pm-2:15pm
Intermediate/Advanced 2:15pm-3:30pm

You can sign up for just one month (3 sessions) or do both sessions (Sept. and Oct.) and receive $25 off. If you put both sessions into your cart, the discount should be applied at checkout. Reach out if you have questions or concerns!

Strong work 8U Pioneers!
They won 1st place in the Tier 2 Championship at the Walt Frazier tournament this weekend! It was the only tournament in state that even had an 8U division this season. So glad they had the opportunity to play. We even made some new friends. Great job 8U!

12u Gold Champions - Parker Pioneers

Pioneers 12U team brings home the gold at the NARCh qualifier in Colorado Springs!
This is a huge achievement for them and for our program. After finishing second in the last two tournaments, they finally came out on top! Strong work kids! We are so proud.

Pioneers 14U battled hard against some very talented teams this weekend. Every tournament they improve and grow, though I know those words offer little comfort to the players post game. As always, we take the lessons learned and go back to work.

Congratulations again to all our players this weekend!

21 games later and the Pioneers teams have finally finished their TORHS regional weekend. Our amazing team parents and fans have all the pictures. Please share and feel free to post. Thank you for helping document this weekend!

Final results:
10U- Tier 2 Champions (3rd place out of all 5 teams)
12U Gold- Tier 1 Runners Up (2nd place out of 4 teams total)
12U Silver- Tier 2 Runners Up (4th place out of 4 teams total)
14U- Tier 2 Runners Up (4th place out of 5 teams total)
16U- 5th place (of 5 teams total)

We also had two players receive individual awards within their divisions:
12U Top Scorer- Lincoln Tubbs
14U Top Scorer- Brayden Russell

Final standings and game scores only show part of the story. Across the board, our teams have expanded and become more competitive, putting up great battles against talented teams. In three years, our improvement is undeniable. I couldn’t be more appreciative to the parents and players who have gone through the trenches with us as we build. Additionally, the outreach to new families has played a huge part in our successes this season.

Thank you parents, grandparents, siblings, extended family, and friends for all that you do to support your Pioneers hockey players. These tournament weekends are long and it does take a village.

Quick TORHS updates!
We had some hard fought battles today across all teams.
10U and 12U teams have earned their spots in playoff games tomorrow. 14U still has two round robin games to play tomorrow to secure their spot.
Our young 16U team fought hard against some very talented (and physically much larger) teams. They didn’t make it to the playoff round tomorrow, but we are so proud of them. Growth can be hard to see (or appreciate) when the emotions are high.
