STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Meet Nikki! She has been practicing at BHYW for 10 months. The yoga studio in which Nikki had been practicing suddenly closed, and she didn’t want to lose the progress she had made, so she tried BHYW. Nikki has tried all the classes, and her favorites are 90-minute 26&2, STRENGTH, and Yin Yoga. “I love the balance they provide—challenging my body, building strength, and giving me the opportunity to slow down, stretch, and recover.”
Nikki continues, “The instructors are what truly set BHYW apart. They genuinely care about every student and take the time to make sure you're performing each posture safely and correctly. I especially appreciate that they stay after class to answer questions and offer one-on-one guidance. That extra level of support has helped me build confidence in my practice, and it shows how invested they are in each student's success."

Spouse Spotlight: Meet Melissa and Chris!
They have only been practicing at BHYW since April, but they “already feel like longtime members of the community. Everyone is so warm and welcoming!” They were looking to get back to a regular, serious practice and find a place closer to home. After the first day, they knew they would be joining.
Both enjoy BOSS, Hot Vinyasa, and Roll, Stretch, and Strengthen. When asked what keeps them coming back, Chris states, “Catharsis! Coming in and getting my mind right is such a welcome reprieve from everyday craziness, and I find it incredibly rewarding to push myself, see my strength/balance grow, and leave every hot yoga class sweating out a lot of noise. It’s a fantastic practice and I’m so, so grateful we joined!” Melissa adds, “Every instructor I have encountered is knowledgeable, compassionate, and so encouraging. It really helps me bring my best effort to the mat every time. And the variety helps me build a practice that supports my whole self: body, mind, and spirit. My only regret is that I didn't know about BHYW sooner!”

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Meet Cleopatrae. In February, she signed up for the Intro Special. When her 20 days were up, she immediately became a member. Initially, Cleopatrae sought out yoga classes to help strengthen her mental and physical wellness. She hoped yoga would be helpful in her goal of feeling less pain daily. So far, the classes that she has taken have helped strengthen her temple, lower her pain level, and increase her flexibility.
“I take Roll Stretch Strengthen YOGA, Gentle YOGA, YOGA Nidra with Sound Bath, and Yin YOGA. I love them all, but my favorite is Roll Stretch Strengthen YOGA. Gail is funny, knowledgeable, supportive, and has personally gone the extra mile to help me attain better flexibility which I have struggled with my entire life. Gail’s class has helped me with hip arthritis, learning how to forward fold safely with a bulging disc, and more recently has helped with my leg. I have since been able to lower my nerve medication dosage, stop taking pain meds, and work more hours. All of the instructors are knowledgeable, empathetic, patient, and most importantly without judgement. Debbie, the owner, has also been very supportive in my goal of improving my strength and ability. She is extremely helpful and motivating.”
