15th Pan American Wushu Championships & 5th Pan American Kungfu & Taijiquan Championships

The 15th Pan American Wushu Championships and the 5th Pan American Kungfu & Taijiquan Championships will be held from October 8–12, 2026, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For the first time, these two major Pan American championships will be organized consecutively as part of one combined event period, creating the largest wushu gathering in the history of the Pan American region.

The championships will bring together athletes, coaches, officials, and delegations from across the Americas to compete in modern wushu, traditional kungfu, and taijiquan disciplines. Notably, the United States is set to bring the largest delegation team to the event, showcasing a strong presence on the continental stage.

USAWKF National Sanda Judges Course

On June 21, 2026, six participants completed the USAWKF National Sanda Judges Course held in Baltimore, Maryland. Throughout the course, participants demonstrated strong engagement, professionalism, and commitment while developing their knowledge of Sanda rules, judging standards, and competition procedures.

All six participants successfully passed the course and will continue their development as certified Sanda officials. Their achievements will be formally recognized at the upcoming Presidential Wushu Cup, where certificates will be presented during the event to celebrate their accomplishment and contribution to the growth of Sanda competition in the United States.

The 2026 USAWKF National Kungfu Championships & National Rankings will be held on August 8–9, 2026, in Houston, Texas, at the Royal Sonesta Hotel.

This premier championship event brings together current USAWKF National Team Kungfu athletes to compete for the title of USAWKF National Champion and establish their national ranking among the top athletes in the United States. The event celebrates the dedication, skill, and achievements of athletes representing the highest level of competitive kungfu in the country.

Held during the same event weekend, the Longhorn Champions - Longhorn International Wushu Kungfu Championships will provide additional opportunities for athletes across the wushu community to compete and showcase their skills. The event will also host the USAWKF Kungfu Team Trials, offering athletes the opportunity to qualify for the 5th Pan American Kungfu & Taijiquan Championships (PAKTC) in Argentina this October.
