Sharing information about a celebration of life for Cesar Del Cano Rico.
Cesar played in our league for many years and remained part of the local soccer community as a coach and mentor long after his playing days. Many of you will remember his presence on and around the field.
His family is holding a celebration of life, and we are posting this here so those who knew him through soccer have the opportunity to attend if they wish.
Details are in the invitation below. Please keep Cesar's family and loved ones in your thoughts.

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the passing of our longtime friend and soccer family member, Jean Jarosz, who passed away on 12/12/25.
Jean was one of the original players when we started our Saturday women’s beginner soccer league back in 2000 at the young age of 51! She was incredibly passionate about soccer and played with that same passion all the way until the end.
Jean was a hoot. She had such a strong presence, a big personality, and a way of lighting up the field and the people around her. She was also one of the most caring and thoughtful people you could know. She always thought of others, especially on their birthdays, often baking a cake just to make someone feel special.
She truly enjoyed life to the fullest and had so many friends who adored her. Jean leaves behind a huge hole in our soccer community and in our hearts.
She will be missed dearly. 👼 💕

Games canceled Sunday, 11/16/25!
We were originally scheduled to hold our finals tomorrow. While it's raining now, the forecast for tomorrow is still about 50/50-likely overcast with occasional sprinkles or light rain, but no thunder or lightning. So we could play, but since we were taking next week off anyway, we decided it makes more sense to push the finals to next week.
Finals are now scheduled for Sunday, 11/23.
The weather is looking great with highs in the 70s and ideal for soccer, so it should be a much better experience for everyone.
Thanks for your flexibility, and we'll see you all next week for the finals!
Thank you!
