LAYOUT UPDATE! We have put in an 18 hole layout that is VERY CLOSE to the Membership Drive layout. There will be 3 (maybe 4) temporary basket placements for the actual Membership Drive layout. Follow the new red arrows to find your way or use UDisc.

Hole 1 - long left; mando right of the tree (I think we forgot to mark the mando and drop zone today - we'll get that fixed.)
Hole 2 - long right
Hole 3 - middle left; mando right of the tree
Hole 4 - deep straight
Hole 5 - DEEP left (new pin) - OB road and beyond
Hole 6 (Paul Harris) - right
Hole 7 - long pad; straight
Hole 8 - long left; extendo pole
Hole 9 - play from hole 9 tee pad to GOAT hole on the extendo pole.
Hole 10 - new pad to WTO hole 9 on the hill; double mando off the tee. Missed mando re-tees with a penalty stroke.

GOAT HOLE IS OUT

Hole 11 - long left (last hole before the desert)
THERE ARE ONLY 2 DESERT HOLES - the islands are not in play
Hole 12 - Desert 1 pad to Desert 2 basket
Hole 13 - New Desert long corner pad to Desert 1 basket
Hole 14 - Green Monster long (this will be moved before Membership Drive once SoCal Edison finishes their work)
Hole 15 - CTP right
Hole 16 - "Double Mando" tee to bathroom basket left. No mandos.
Hole 17 - Corner hole; Double Mando off the tee. Missed mando re-tees with a stroke penalty
Hole 18 - WTO Long (regular hole 22 to 23 basket). Mando near tee pad for 23. Missed mando throws from hole 23 tee pad. Ignore the first mando - we're going to take that out).

The 2023 Summertime Open has come and gone. We’d like to thank Steve & Bamba Rico and Legacy Discs for an awesome tournament, as well as everyone who participated! Congrats to all the winners! Big thank you to the Club for making it happen.

Now it’s back to our regularly scheduled Tom Sawyer Camps 21 hole layout (“Summer 2023” on UDisc).

*Please note* If you see a cone on a teepad (like the one pictured), please skip it. Thank you!

As a reminder, the Camps run thru Friday August 11th, which means we’ll be changing the layout up then! So hang in there for just a few more weeks, more announcements to follow…

Thank you all for your patience as we made a series of changes over the past few weeks leading up to the Summertime Open, we hope you all enjoyed it. More fun things to come.

Stay cool and hydrated out there and please remember to always be cautious of and courteous to our camper and animal friends as you play the rest of the summer. It’s been a wonderful summer so far and we can’t thank our amazing Community enough 🙏🏼 you really are the best!

*SUMMERTIME OPEN LAYOUT UPDATE*

The 2023 Summertime Open layout has been finalized! All 21 baskets on the course are set and will be in play for the Summertime Open. We will be adding more to complete a full 27* hole layout the week of the tournament, which is Saturday July 22nd.

Obviously, we have to wait until Friday, July 21st to put the full layout (because of Tom Sawyer Camps during the weeks) in before the tournament. However, the Club will be running its weeklies the next two Saturdays leading up to the tournament and will feature some more of the layout, so be sure to come check that out and get some practice in!

In the meantime, use the “Summer 2023” layout in UDisc to find your way around if you are coming to practice between now and the tournament. Good luck and we’ll see you out there!

Special thanks to Steve Rico and Legacy Discs!

Thank you

Tree fell on hole 10? No problem! Big thanks to Keith, Marcus and the City crew for taking care of this so quickly today! Also big thanks to new friend of the Course and Oregon transplant AJ for helping me move everything once the guys were done so we could make it playable again.

Teamwork makes the dream work!

🥏⛓️ LAYOUT UPDATES ⛓️🥏

We have removed the baskets on 2, the horses, and the back corner holes again for Tom Sawyer Camps. We left 🐐 and the 4 holes in the desert in. We also moved a few baskets (including the 2 extendo poles…) to freshen up the layout a bit. That gives us a 21 hole layout to work with between now and the Summertime Open on July 22nd.

We are working with Steve Rico on finalizing that layout and will have that set as soon as possible, hopefully this week, so everyone playing that tournament has just about a month to practice it.

Temp signage is in place and good to go. UDisc layout will be live shortly today.

Thanks to all Club members who helped us prepare for and run the Senior Games this weekend, as well as get the layout ready today. Special thanks to all of our amazing seniors for an awesome tournament over the weekend, and congrats to all the winners!

See you all out there!

Hey everyone,

We have made some changes to the layout this week for the upcoming Senior Olympics, which are happening this Saturday, June 24th! You’ll notice some baskets have moved this week, this is in preparation for the Senior Olympics. The changes are reflected in UDisc, and the 20 hole TSC layout is still playable throughout the week! We ask you to please be mindful and cautious of campers and horses throughout the course (especially under trees like the Green Monster [pictured- one of the moved baskets, now in the short position by the telephone pole]). They have the right of way always!

On Friday afternoon, we will have all 24 holes installed once the campers leave for the weekend around 4:30pm. Anyone wanting to practice the full layout for the tournament can expect to be able to do that around that time.

🚨 REMINDER 🚨 THE COURSE WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC ON SATURDAY JUNE 24th due to this event, so please plan accordingly.

*This means no Oak Grove Disc Golf Club Saturday Weekly!*

Thank you all for your patience and cooperation as we continue to work with our friends at Tom Sawyer Camps this summer. Best of luck to everyone competing in the 30th 2023 Pasadena Senior Games! Special thanks to our own Mark Horn for organizing the event, and the Club Maintenance Committee for getting the Course ready!
