Our next Rookie Reveal is Alexandra!

A junior from Los Angeles, Alexandra is the newest member of our Cheer Squad. In her words, “I am so excited to make new friends, cheer for a team out on the field again, and make unforgettable memories. Being a part of the UCLA Spirit Squad is such a huge accomplishment, and I can’t wait to be surrounded by this school’s amazing energy at the Rose Bowl!” Fun fact about Alexandra – she loves snowboarding!

The UCLA Football team is undefeated, and tonight the Bruins play their first B1G opponent as the Purdue Boilermakers make their way to the Rose Bowl. Kickoff is at 8 pm, and we can’t wait to cheer them on!

If you’re looking for us pregame, we’ll be performing with the UCLA Alumni Band at 6:30 pm in the Fan Zone. Hope to see you all in Pasadena!

Our next Rookie Reveal is Carmichael!

A freshman from Riverside, Carmichael is the newest member of our Cheer Squad. Charmichael shared that “for my first year on the Spirit Squad, I am most excited to get closer with my teammates and try collegiate level skills and pyramids. I really can’t wait to be on the sideline at the football games cheering and doing what I do best!” Fun fact about Charmichael – he’s a self taught tumbler!

A freshman from Cypress, TX, Isabella is the newest member of our Cheer Squad. In Isabella’s words, “I’m most excited to cheer at the Rose Bowl and get the opportunity to continue doing the sport I love.” Fun fact about Isabella – she has performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade twice!

A senior from Lexington Hills, Alex is the newest member of our Cheer Squad. For Alex, “I’m really excited to get to know everyone on the team. I’m also excited to learn new stunts and tumbling passes!” Fun fact about Alex – he has a twin brother!

Football is finally back at the Rose Bowl! Today is our home opener, and we can’t wait to cheer on UCLA Football as they take on the San Diego State Aztecs.

Kickoff is at 4:15 pm, and if you want to find us pregame, we will be performing with the UCLA Alumni Band at 2:45 pm in the Fan Zone.

Up next, Isabella!

A junior from Eastvale, Isabella is the newest member of our Dance Team. In Isabella’s words, “I am very excited to be dancing on the field at the Rose Bowl. I cannot wait to show my school spirit at UCLA events and create new memories with everybody on the team. Being on the team has been a dream of mine ever since I could remember, so I am just excited to take in every moment!” Fun fact about Isabella – she’s been attending UCLA football games since she was a baby.

A senior from Roseville, Katie is the newest member of our Squad. For Katie, “I’m excited to cheer on and support the beautiful UCLA community that I am grateful to be a part of! The opportunity to attend college is part of the American Dream my family has always envisioned, so being able to represent UCLA and higher education through Spirit Squad is incredibly meaningful to me.” Fun fact about Katie – she’s also part of UCLA’s Chinese-Vietnamese lion dance team!
