Even if you have your own training regimen, benefiting from a second opinion may be all that you needed. Usually the last 10-15 lbs are the hardest to lose. I couldn’t be more proud of my client Myrna!

Each client sets a different goal for themselves. For Elvia, her goal was to feel better about herself, gain confidence and physical strength. She accomplished all these things, and lost 15 lbs on the way! Just look at her on the right, she looks beautiful, confident, and says she “feels great about herself” ! Success is not just a number, but your mindset, improvements in the areas of strength and flexibility, and/or being able to fit in your dream dress 👗, those are all credible successes! Well done, ladies!

My first meal of the day is usually around 11a or 12p. Some days I eat lots of , 3 tbp (tablespoons) of , almond yogurt and a little piece of turkey leg. As an alternative dietitian, these are some other things I do.
☀️ I try to eat always what is on season.
🪴 I am an advocate for always including foods that are both protein and fiber rich. Ground flax seeds are a super food, and so it’s passion fruit 😋. Those two foods, for example, have SO MANY benefits.

I believe one of the reasons why injury could occur overtime, (unlike an actual accident, per say) is when the ligaments and tendons are not worked or exercised properly. So, here are some educational slides and also a sheet for how to exactly work your tendons and joints in your shoulder area. I recommend to train these twice a week for 1-2 sets of 12-15 reps. Joints are the space between your bones, ligaments connects the bones together, and tendons connect bone and muscle. The word ligament is derived from Latin “Liga” which is rubberband. A way I like to check whether someone is in the overweight or obese category is with their waist measurement around their belly button. No need for fancy testing. If you used a scale and carry more lean mass than the average individual your height, and thus you be considered overweight, which technically could be wrong. This is why I always advice my clients to check their waist line simply with a measuring tape. So, to help reduce health risk complications, you want an ideal waist line of no more than 35” (if you are a woman), and no more than 40” (if you are a man).

If you need to make a quick dish for the party, this American lemon pie will sure please most everyone, unless they don’t like lemons 🍋 🤷🏻♀️. Ready in 15min, and the calories are not as high when compared to other American pies 🥧.
Personally, I use coconut 🌴 ice cream instead of dairy 🥛🙅🏻♀️. Dairy tears me up. Swipe left for recipe!! Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

In California, I’d see so many young and older ladies wearing thong bikinis in front of children and their families. However, here in Texas, it’s a lot less common. Yes I get it, we train so hard for our physiques we should be able to show it off, but there is a place and time for things! I don’t think our younger generation use common sense at all.
Other than that, what a great day today is, isn’t it?💪🏻 ♥️
