After a nearly six year journey to put a league together, it looks like we will launch in spring of 2021 at an as of yet undisclosed location in Pasco, Washington.

Quiet week on the news front, but busy behind the scenes preparing for official launch of the program in Washington.

After a great meeting with Hector and Dan at Visit Tri-Cities Sports Council, we are moving forward with a prospective 2019 launch for AYC-Tri-Cities.

Next up more meetings with key groups to build momentum.

Love bike racing, but don’t know how to get kids engaged?

Since we are SPRINGING forward this morning, thought we'd give you a vision of a spring morning in the near future...

Imagine waking up on a Saturday morning, loading your three children ages 6, 9, and 13, into your car (you don't need a supersized SUV) and head to the park for a few hours of bike racing.

You arrive at the city park to find 100 kids in brightly colored jerseys running around, not much different than a soccer or baseball field. Matching bikes are lined op in rows, ready for the days races to begin, and coaches are preparing their athletes for the day.

The older kids are lining up around the course to cheer on their younger teammates, and parents are giving last minute pep talks.

Sounds like any other sport, doesn't it?

Except this is a youth cycling league, and isn't dependent on great hand eye coordination... or the ability to kick a ball while running. Its a sport for every kid!

AYC is fun, exciting, and costs about as much as a city flag football league ($50-65).
