Team Idaho Dirtdogs 16U & 18U tryout information
The Team Idaho-Dirtdogs team will be having a 16U and 18U tryout this Sunday, July 29th, at Mountain View High School. We have several positions open and look forward to adding quality players with the passion for this game. Below are the times for the tryouts:

16U: 3:00 - 4:30pm Sunday, July 29th
18U: 5:00 - 6:30pm Sunday, July 29th

The goal of the Team Idaho-Dirtdogs is to provide the tools for each player to excel and develop into a complete softball player, both offensively and defensively.

Create a student athlete with the proper mechanics and fundamentals to compete at the highest level, both academically and athletically.

The organization will actively pursue highly competitive levels of play in qualifying tournaments and college-exposure tournaments in order to promote the advancement of these players to softball teams at the college level.

Orr's standout play over the years has turned the NNU softball program completely around NAMPA — Kylie Orr lost track of the number of times he called and attended her games at Mountain View High.

Today is the start of High School tryouts. I would like to wish all the DirtDog Girls Good Luck!! Enjoy the high school season and keep working hard!!Always be proud of yourself and confident!! We will resume together in May. Go get’em girls!

Hello Dirtdogs... Last week the 16U team traveled to Las Vegas to play in the The Best of the Best College Exposure tournament. The first day the team struggled with their hitting and went 1-1. However, the second and third day the girls came ready to play and did great both offensively and defensively. They had a total of 9 homeruns and won the rest of their games going 4-1 for the weekend. All their hard work they have been doing over the fall and winter is paying off. Great job girls..keep up the hard work!
This will be the last tournament, until May, for the Dirtdogs as High School tryouts and games are right around the corner. Good Luck to all the High School girls that will be trying out!!!

As many of you know this past week a father of one of our players passed away. Dean Diffin has impacted so many through his coaching and as a teacher. We send our deepest condolences to the Diffin family. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your loved one.

A vigil service will be held today Friday, November 17th at 7:00 PM and funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 18th at 11:30 AM at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 6300 N. Meridian Rd. in Meridian. Burial will be held on Sunday, November 19th at 1:00 PM at Prairie View Cemetery in Grangeville.

Sorry no updates have been posted for this weekends Showcase for the Dirtdogs, as you know the Idaho Dirtdogs went to Fresno, CA. Over the weekend they played 5 games and ended up 3-2 in the Showcase. They competed against some very good California teams who had outstanding pitching and defense, however the Idaho Dirtdogs also played strong defensively and our pitching was amazing too. Great job ladies!!!

Pictures from the USA Prep softball weekend have now been posted.

The Idaho Dirtdogs went 5-0 at the USA Prep this past weekend.

Last weekend the Dirtdogs played in the USA Preps in Pasco, WA. Over the 2 days they went undefeated and went 5-0. Great job ladies!! It was nice to see them competing last weekend and they played very well. We have some new girls on the team this season and they are a great addition to our team. Pics to come soon.
This weekend the team is in Fresno, CA for the Dirtdogs Showcase. I will post updates as they come. Go Dirtdogs!!
