I think a lot of us have a horse sitting around that we keep saying, “I really need to get that horse going again.”

So let’s do it.

Whether you want to get back to sorting, start doing some cattle work, get your horse in better shape, have some fun on the trails, or just get back to feeling comfortable riding again — I’d love to hear what you want to do with your horse.

I have a few openings for training at Lost Peacock Ranch and I’m looking to take on 2–3 more horses this month.

It’s not always time to give up on your horse just yet.

Sometimes they just need more miles, a little consistency, or a different approach.

I’ve had quite a few horses come through here that just needed to get out, go to work, see some cattle, and have someone put some time into them.

If you’ve got a horse that you’re struggling to get along with, or one that just needs to get back into a job, I have a couple spots opening up for training.

I’m especially enjoying the sorting/cow horses and horses that need some outside miles and confidence.

I’m taking 2–3 more horses this month.

I have a few spots opening up for horses in training at Lost Peacock Ranch and I’m looking to take on 2–3 more horses this month.

I’m looking for started horses that need some outside miles, conditioning, cattle work, arena work, or just a little help getting back on track.

I really enjoy riding team sorting/cow horses, legging horses up, and working with horses that their owners are having a hard time getting along with. I’d also love to work with someone who wants to develop their cow horse toward showing.

We have cattle here and lessons can be worked into the program if the owner wants help learning to get along with their horse better.

I’m not looking for c**ts to start or horses with dangerous behavior.

If you have a horse that might be a good fit, or know someone who does, shoot me a message.

You may not need a different horse. Your horse may just need a job. 🐴

🐴 BACK IN THE SADDLE — 8-WEEK ADULT HORSE PROGRAM

Have you spent time around horses in the past but life got busy and you found yourself out of the saddle?

Maybe you grew up riding, owned horses, or just miss being around horses. If you’re ready to get back in the saddle, this program is for you!

Join us for an 8-week small-group program designed to rebuild confidence, improve riding skills, and enjoy different aspects of the horse world — from arena riding and obstacles to trail riding, cattle and an introduction to team sorting.

🐎 Horses provided — no horse of your own needed!
👥 Small groups of only 2–3 riders
📅 Starting the week of September 1
⏰ Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, 6:00–7:30 PM
📍 Lost Peacock Ranch
💰 $750 for all 8 weeks

What a great afternoon of sorting! After today’s practice, we wrapped up the day with a jackpot, and the competition did not disappoint.
