Well here it is. No, it is not finished, but it rides. Its fast, but not fun like the other one. It is all business. The rear suspension broke and needed a ride home. Not happy. good news, it is fixed and faster. Now it is time to test my legs. see yeah.

It finally got out of the hood and down to the bay. It rides nice and quiet.

Yes it has been a very long time. It has been all about that darn swing door and fender. It is still om going. The new velo rides well, except tire rub. Here are some pic's. The body weighs in at 10 pounds.

Picking the right parts was not an easy task. Some parts had to be returned, some were kept. The rear derailleur has a clutch, yes that right. It is a mine field when it comes to bike parts. It will be 11 speed with gravel road capability. I could have gone to electric shift. No thanks for now. Chain management is next, if I can only get to it.
Good news for me is riding is now faster after the cold dense air is over. I was beginning to think I was getting old. Not yet.
Oh, the last picture is what FAILURE LOOKS LIKE! That is the remains of the old, new body that bombed.

Finally the brakes are on, along with the axles, hubs and bushings. The rotor runs free. it runs smooth.

It has been a while. The axles won't be in until early March. This was a good time to ride and kayak, so I did. A by product of riding and kayaking was better sleep. The winter air is generally cold and dense and wears me down. The rides are a bit shorter, miles are miles.
