Hi,
This is a reminder to sign up for this year's Kanai Sensei Memorial Seminar by May 14th to take advantage of the early registration discount. Doing so helps us plan!
Our annual KSMS honors the legacy of Kanai Sensei. This year it will run from June 14th to 16th and, as in past years, it will be at the Prindle Pond Conference Center in central Massachusetts.

It's a chance to get away to a peaceful setting in the woods with many opportunities for great training, good food, simple but comfortable accommodations and to see old friends and make new ones. It recalls the summer camps that Kanai Sensei organized in the early days of Aikido in the US.

These photos are from the 2003 Summer Camp. In his Wednesday morning class that year, Kanai Sensei surprised us with sutemi waza. This brought forth both a few puzzled expressions—and much laughter—as we tried to copy what he did so smoothly.
