The Parks & Recreation Division Is Pleased To Announce The Return Of The Slater Park Summer Tennis Camp.

REGISTRATION FOR THE 50TH ANNUAL PAWTUCKET OPEN TENNIS TOURNAMENT BEGINS THIS FRIDAY APRIL 24TH!

The Pawtucket Open Tennis tradition continues in 2026 with the 50th Annual Pawtucket Open Tennis Tournament held at Slater Memorial Park in June! (photo – flyer attachment will highlight date specifics)
Player registration begins on April 24th and is open to players of ALL SKILL LEVELS. Divisions include Men’s Singles as well as Doubles Divisions for Men, Women and Mixed Pairs.
Registration for this recreational tournament will close on Friday May 29th at 4:30pm (SINGLES) & Friday June 19th at 4:30pm (DOUBLES)
The first 40 registrants will receive a FREE T-shirt. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE CHAMPION AND RUNNERS-UP IN EACH DIVISION.
Please refer to the photo for registration instructions regarding the tournament as well as other programs and facility reservations facilitated through the Parks & Recreation Division. To get started with the on-line process, please visit the City of Pawtucket website at https://pawtucketri.gov/parks-and-recreation/. The creation of an account is not necessary if you have reserved facilities or participated in recreational programs in the past. Simply use the “log in” option to register.
PAYMENT OF FEES
The use of debit or credit card will be required at the conclusion of the registration process. Cash, check and credit card payments can be processed in person at the Slater Park office (across from the tennis courts), Monday - Friday from 9 am – 4 pm. The Slater Park Office can be reached by calling (401) 728-0500 EXT. 253.

Crazy Shirt Day 2025 will take place on Friday July 18th. We cannot wait to see what you create!!
