NO THRU ACCESS IN SLATER PARK - WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17

Work will resume on Wednesday leading to a partial closure of Slater Memorial Park for the entire day and night on April 17. This will prohibit thru traffic from taking place in the Park. This area of the park will be reopened on Thursday, April 18.

The road closure will take place from the Slater Park Recreation Office to the bottom of the hill, adjacent to the pond and the field site. Access to the southern portion of Slater Park will be accessible which includes the rear portion of the park in the picnic area, Animal Shelter, basketball court as well as Daggett Farm.

The road closure will impede direct access to the Watercolor Society, the Dog Park and and tennis courts. Upon entering the Armistice Boulevard entrance, AN ENTRANCE WILL BE AVAILABLE for parking in the field on the immediate right hand side to allow for access to these destinations.

PLEASE REFER TO THE PHOTO FOR DETAILS

We appreciate your patience while we install speed humps in this portion of the park to enhance public safety for pedestrians and cyclists while visiting Slater Memorial Park.
