WOW! I am still beaming over the magic we created last weekend! Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate 15 years of CJDA with three absolutely amazing recitals.
Watching our incredible students—from our little ones taking their first steps on stage to our Seniors—shine with such poise, grace, and confidence was the highlight of the season. You all sparkled brighter than the stage lights!
Putting on a production of this size takes a village, and I am so deeply grateful for ours:
* To our Parents: Thank you for your endless hours of driving, volunteering, and supporting your children’s dreams.
* To our Backstage Moms: Thank you for working tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring costumes were quick-changed and every dancer felt prepared and calm. We literally could not do this without you.
* To my Amazing Staff and Assistant Teachers: Thank you for your passion, dedication, and for pouring your hearts into our students all year long!
*
Special thank you to all of our students. Your hard work, positive attitudes, and love for dance inspire me every single day. I am so incredibly proud of you all.
Thank you for making this season our best one yet!
With endless gratitude,
Miss Crystal

✨ Last but certainly not least on our Senior Spotlight series is Ruby Vieira! Here’s what Ruby said about her time here at CJDA 🩵
1. When did you start dancing and how long have you been at CJDA?
I started dancing when I was 3. I started dancing at CJDA when I was about 6. This is my 13th year dancing here.
2. What life lessons have you learned from being a dancer?
I have learned so many things from my dance career, like persistence, positivity, good sportsmanship, good work ethic, and so much more!
3. What is one of your favorite memories from CJDA?
There are so many great moments I’ve had here at the studio! One of my favorite memories from CJDA was last year’s showcase, when I was helping people out and laughing with my friends backstage. We had so much fun we forgot we still had to dance after dress rehearsal!!
4. What is your advice to younger dancers?
My advice to the younger ones are always be yourself, especially while you dance. Dancing is supposed to be fun and make you happy, you should enjoy it! It will give you the friends and experiences you can’t get anywhere else. Don’t be afraid to have fun and be you!!!
5. Share any thoughts you’d like your teammates/dance teachers/ family to know:
I want to say thank you to everyone! All of my friends, family, teachers, and even other parents that have been there for me throughout my dance career here, and I owe them everything! I couldn’t have done it without all of you! I’m so excited to see what is in store for me in the future, but my days here at CJDA will always be a big part of me!

Congratulations to our 5 graduating Seniors!
In just 5 days you will be taking the stage as a CJDA dancer for the very last time. We are so proud of you and we know that you are all destined for great things. The stage may change, but your passion will always lead the way.
