Today is Logan Henry day. He would have been 8 today, it’s his 6th birthday in heaven. We celebrate this day in honor of little Logan who lost his life to a drowning on his second birthday. Today we also look at getting funds to add more scholarships for lessons to kids who can’t afford swim lessons but would like swim lessons.

Thank you to our alliance members at The US Army Corps. of Engineers for these reminders about swim safety in open waters. Swimming in open water (lakes, rivers, etc.) can be more difficult than in a pool. You can get exhausted in a short amount of time and get into trouble due to waves, current, lack of experience, or your abilities have decreased. Even good swimmers can drown so !
