SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: BEAUX “SHIESTY” CONANT #10
For the past seven years, Beaux Shiesty Conant has been building his football journey one practice, one play, and one memory at a time. Whether he’s lining up at cornerback, running back, or wide receiver, Beaux brings the kind of energy and competitive spirit that makes him stand out on the field.
One of his favorite football memories came when he scored his first touchdown— Now, as he looks ahead to this season, Beaux has his eyes on an even bigger moment: a pick six!
When he’s not on the field, you’ll find Beaux enjoying a good steak, playing his favorite game, Madden, and cheering on his favorite NFL team, the Houston Texans. But football is about more than just the game for Beaux. It’s about what it means to be part of something bigger.
When asked what being a Patriot means to him, Beaux kept it simple and powerful:
“What being a Patriot means to me is it makes me feel like a Warrior!” ⚔️
Seven years in, the journey continues. The goal is set. The warrior mentality is locked in. Now it’s time to see what #10 can do.
Keep grinding, Beaux! We can’t wait to watch you make your mark this season! 🔥🏈

We're so proud of you!!
🏆 Houston Elite Media Athlete of the Week 🏆
There were a LOT of performances worthy of Athlete of the Week honors this past weekend against the Longhorns, but my pick goes to #23 Register of the Freshman team. 👏🏈
Register is the heartbeat of this team. He brings energy and enthusiasm every time he steps on the field and makes an impact on both sides of the ball.
On offense, he’s a leader and a playmaker. On defense, he’s constantly around the football and finding ways to create turnovers. 🔥
#23 Register — my Houston Elite Media Athlete of the Week!
Keep making plays, Register! 💪🏈

HOUSTON ELITE MEDIA ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Pearland Patriots & Patriettes
Senior QB #17 Taylor Sweat
Some players have a big game. Taylor Sweat had a little bit of everything.
Sweat wasted no time making his presence felt Saturday, taking the opening kickoff all the way to the house for a touchdown.
A few possessions later, Sweat orchestrated another scoring drive, connecting on a beautiful 27-yard pass that put the Patriots at the 1-yard line. The play appeared to be a touchdown, but the officials saw it differently. No matter. Sweat finished the drive himself, powering through on a QB sneak for another Patriots touchdown.
Then he showed off the wheels.
Sweat raced toward the right pylon for the 2-point conversion, extending the Patriots’ lead and giving them plenty of early momentum.
But Sweat wasn’t finished.
With the Red Raiders threatening just before halftime and only seconds remaining, they took a deep shot down the sideline.
You guessed it.
Taylor Sweat came down with it.
Interception. Halftime.
A kickoff return touchdown. A rushing touchdown. A 2-point conversion. An interception.
Sweat excelled in all three phases of the game and was a driving force behind the Patriots’ commanding performance over the Red Raiders.
One player. Three phases. One heck of a Saturday.
Taylor Sweat is your Houston Elite Media Athlete of the Week.
