Consistency > Perfection

Typical weight loss is 1-2 lbs per week.

But most people strive for unrealistic goals and then quit out of discouragement.

All while the person losing 1-2 lbs a week continues to do so, week after week.

This is why our clients like Erica can see such huge changes. Because they don’t make huge changes. Just small ones that are practiced every day.

Set realistic goals, start slow and stay consistent. Not every day will be perfect.

- you will skip a workout
- you will cheat on your diet
- you will forget to drink your water.

But don’t let it become a habit.

Want to see results like Erica? Here’s EXACTLY what you need to do.

That’s it, that’s the secret. 🤫

🚨Client Showcase 🚨

Today we would like to showcase Edgar. This man is always a joy to have in our gym.

He always brings a smile and a positive attitude to every session. Along with some very unique song requests. 🤣

Here are some worlds from Edgar…

“Before joining Blueprint I was seeing a bad increase in my cholesterol numbers. While I tried on my own to get in better shape, I was very inconsistent and unfocused. I decided to get help through Blueprint Fitness for the accountability and the expertise a personal trainer brings. I’m happy to report that my total cholesterol levels are now in a healthy range.

I’ve enjoyed meeting new people in the group sessions, as well as getting to know the trainers. I value the acceptance and encouragement everyone brings, and I always look forward to my sessions.

I’ve enjoyed feeling more energetic in my everyday life. I’ve picked up tennis and pickleball recently, and I can attribute my endurance to the work I’ve been doing at Blueprint.”

Start your day stronger 💪

Consuming 20–30g of protein in the morning can:
✔️ Boost satiety (keep you fuller, longer)
✔️ Stabilize blood sugar levels
✔️ Support muscle repair
✔️ Prevent mid-morning energy crashes

A high-protein breakfast also helps reduce hunger hormones (ghrelin) and sharpen focus—making it a powerful tool for weight management and sustained energy throughout the day.

Need ideas? Try:
🥚 Eggs
🥣 Greek yogurt
🧀 Cottage cheese
🥤 Protein smoothies

Fuel your morning right and you will win the day 💪

🚨Client Showcase 🚨

Today we would like to showcase Patricia. This woman is always a joy to have in our gym.

Even though she works 24 hour shifts in a hospital in Conroe, She always bring a smile and a positive attitude to every session.

Even with her long commutes and crazy work hours, she still finds time to make her health a priority and shows up for training 3X a week!

The truth is this, you have to take care of yourself so you can take care of others.

Here are some worlds from Patricia…

“Before joining Blueprint Fitness I was under a lot of stress from work and taking care of my elderly parents. I was exhausted all the time, and there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't have some ache or pain somewhere in my body (knees, shoulders, lower back, etc). I went for my annual physical and discovered I was at my highest weight, my blood pressure was high, and my bloodwork showed high cholesterol and A1C (borderline diabetic). It was a wakeup call.

My favorite part of Blueprint is the supportive environment and community feel. The first few sessions were difficult, but the trainers were extremely encouraging and kept me accountable. Now, I look forward to my sessions! They are fun and even therapeutic. It's my "me" time!

Now, I still have the stressful job and responsibilities of taking care of my parents, but I have more energy and feel less exhausted. Overall, I'm better able to handle life in general. I have lost weight and my clothes fit better. I just had my annual physical and I am no longer borderline diabetic and my blood pressure and cholesterol have improved. I'm so glad I made the decision to fully commit and join Blueprint Fitness.

Thanks Chris!!”

If you’re 40+, your nutrition matters more than ever.
It’s not about eating less food… it’s about eating less junk.

👉 Prioritize protein to maintain muscle, boost metabolism and fight off sugar cravings
👉 Don’t label carbs as bad —just choose whole, unprocessed options and quit eating carbs after 6pm
👉 Fats support hormones, joint health and brain function. You want a mix of all 3 (polyunsaturated, monounsaturated & saturated)
👉 Hydration = energy, recovery, and fat loss
Most people slow down because of habits, the habit of not exercising so you lose muscle mass. The habit of eating out and not moving enough so you gain a bunch of fat

Small changes now = more energy, strength, and confidence later.

If you’re ready to feel better in your body again, let’s chat. Send me a DM. 💬

As we get older staying active and recovery isn’t optional — it’s essential. 💪
Our bodies need a little more support to repair muscles, reduce soreness, and keep joints moving well.

A few simple habits can make a big difference in how you feel after a workout.

Here are a few recovery tips that help you stay consistent and injury-free:

✅ Hydrate well before and after you workout ✅ Prioritize sleep so your body can repair and rebuild✅ Add light movement like walking on rest days✅ Prioritize protein and nutrient-rich foods

Recovery isn’t about slowing down or being lazy — it’s about training smarter so you can keep showing up for years to come.

If you’re over 40 and committed to staying strong, mobile, and energized, remember: Recovery is just as important as training.
