This is why I love what I do! ❤️🥎

A little glimpse into last night’s lesson with my 10u hitter Addi McGrew! The smiles, the laughs, the energy, and the excitement throughout our session made my night! Yes, I’m here to develop better hitters but I also want these girls to LOVE the process, enjoy showing up to work and leave with more confidence than they walked in with.

Moments like these remind me why I started coaching in the first place.

Casting your hands? Try this! 🔥

The The Swing Source tool is best for hitters who cast, get loopy, or can’t feel what “keep your hands in” means. Train the connection. Improve barrel direction.

Not every hitter who steps early has a problem. Some hitters can get their foot down early and still hit well. For this hitter, it made her slide forward and that’s what caused her to be early.

So the fix isn’t a rule for everyone. It’s finding what works for the hitter! For this hitter, that meant creating rhythm with the load and matching the rhythm from me, which gave her better rhythm and better adjustability.
