Friday afternoons Whitewing hunters may not have limited out and a few were new to the sport, but it was reported they ran out of shells! Happy our birds are hanging in there….re-supplied and lots of clay target shooting this morning in preparation for the afternoons hunt!

Our Dove hunting lodge guests enjoy fishing in our 5 lakes, we had seen some big Tilapia but this one is a monster, the vegetarian fish bit a tiny inline spinner.

Day 2, hotter and hotter making white wing flights later in the evening. Birds are predictably on schedule.

Opening day in the South Zone on one of our Whitewing Dove fields near Pearsall Texas did not disappoint and a big shout out to Ranger Fi****ms of San Antonio for their 15th annual corporate hunt with WWR! Cheers

Steven our long time guide was checking feeders this week and was able to catch a pic of this super nice typical buck. Won't be long and we will start running game cameras...He looks to be a 3 or 4 year old. WWR has Whitetail hunting openings for 190"+ bucks so time to book your hunt...
