When doing research for the art I read about the famous female pirate Anne Bonny, which inspired me to add the historical elements along with the lacrosse theme.

The layering of colors, or glazing in art terms, was something I learned from Renaissance master artists, such as Michelangelo who did The Sistine Chapel in the Vatican.

Art was done back in 2009. Yes, the equipment is very outdated for today’s game.

But, this single image from the customer - the owner - is about the proof of concept, and validation of the idea to create a product and see if there’s an audience for it.

That, and I don’t think my wife would ever let me put something like that up on the walls. :)
