Pelham Soccer Club The Pelham Soccer Club exists to promote the development of youth in our community through participation in athletic competition

The object of PSC shall be to promote soccer as a sport, to organize soccer teams, to provide training in the sport of soccer, both youth and adult, and to receive gifts or donations to promote the health, welfare and recreation of the general public through the sport of soccer. PSC will provide competition, with sufficient registration, in the following age groups: U - 10 (including EDP U7 - U9)through U – 14. All teams in those age groups must conform to age specific designations as specified by the NHSA, USYS, and USSF. U10 and below teams shall play small-sided 4v4 & 6v6 games and U11 & U12 teams shall play small-sided 8v8 games – both U10 (including EDP) & U11 age groups will be considered developmental divisions under modified rules as established by the Executive Committee of NHSL.

⚽ Pelham U10 Girls vs. Bedford – September 13

Rain couldn’t slow down the Pelham U10 Girls! The Red Hawks battled through the wet conditions and came away with an exciting 3–1 victory over Bedford!

Goalkeepers Charlotte P and Maddie R held Bedford to just one goal, backed by a strong team defensive effort throughout the match.

The entire team showed tremendous hustle, with Audrey G, Sophie K, and Bridgette L showing great improvement in their skills and making an impact on the field.

Offensively, the Red Hawks did a great job moving into space and creating scoring opportunities. Maddie R, Krista G, and Felicity H each found the back of the net for Pelham.

Another great team effort for the U10 Girls and an exciting 3–1 win in the rain! The Red Hawks are off to a fantastic start this season! ⚽🌧️❀️

The U11 Red Hawks were busy this opening weekend, hosting Nashua and Hampshire United.

In the first game of the season, the Red Hawks came out with a relentless offensive attack. Seamus S. opened the scoring just a minute into the match, finishing a pass from Grant K. Less than a minute later, Grant K. added his first goal of the season.
The Red Hawks continued to create chances, but the Nashua keeper stood strong, making several great saves. Undeterred, the Red Hawks kept up the pressure, with Isaac S. converting a nice pass from Seamus S. William K. added his first of the game to go up 4-0. Grant K. added another goal from the penalty spot in the closing minutes of the half, giving the Red Hawks a 5-0 lead at halftime. Luke I. also made several important saves in the first half to keep Nashua off the scoreboard.

Oliver M. replaced Luke I. in net to start the second half, and the Red Hawks continued to maintain possession and pressure the Nashua defense. After several good opportunities, William K. scored his first goal of the season 19 minutes into the second half. Moments later, Marcus R. was brought down while in possession of the ball in the box and was awarded a penalty kick. He calmly placed his shot into the corner of the net to extend the Red Hawks' lead to 7-0. Seamus S. closed out the scoring as the Red Hawks finished with an impressive 8-0 victory.

Congratulations to Mason E., Hudson D., and Levi H. on a great first game as members of the Red Hawks! While they did not appear on the scoresheet, Lucas A. and Brody F. also deserve recognition for their strong defensive play and excellent decision-making throughout the match.

The second match of the weekend saw the Red Hawks host Hampshire United in a rain-soaked home match.

The Red Hawks once again opened the scoring when Grant K. took a pass from Marcus R. and found the back of the net. The remainder of the first half was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams creating opportunities. An unfortunate deflection off a Red Hawks player following a Hampshire United corner kick found the back of the net, sending the teams into halftime tied 1-1.

Hampshire United continued to apply pressure in the second half, scoring an early goal and adding another late in the match. The Red Hawks battled hard throughout the game and created several excellent opportunities, but they were unable to find the back of the net again. The Red Hawks ultimately fell 3-1.

The Red Hawks will get back to the practice field this week before facing Hampshire United again next Sunday, September 20, in Amherst, NH. They'll be looking to build on the positives from this weekend and come away with a different result in the rematch.

The Pelham U10 Girls opened their season with an exciting 5–0 victory over Bow!

The Red Hawks showed great teamwork throughout their first game. Goalkeepers Charlotte P and Maddie R combined for the shutout, supported by strong defensive play from Scarlet B, Emily B, Bridgette L, and Charlotte P.

The Red Hawks’ offense controlled the field and kept the pressure on Bow. Felicity H scored two goals, Krista G added two, and Olivia T scored one to complete the 5–0 win.

A beautiful Saturday afternoon began on a sour note when starting goalie Finn D. went down with an injury during warm ups.

The players refocused and got the first game of the season underway.

Goffstown controlled the play to start the game, but were unable to break through the Red Hawks tough defense, anchored by Mirasol C.

The Red Hawks clawed back some momentum and were rewarded with a goal from Zach H. about 10 minutes into the half. Neil H. provided some great pressure on the defender and Zach was able to capitalize and put it in the back of the net.

The half ended 1-0, but that wasn’t for a lack of chances on both sides. The Goffstown goalie made some incredible saves and with seconds left in the half, Carter Y. cleared the ball off the line to save the first half shut out.

Red Hawks came out strong in the second half putting a lot of pressure on Goffstown. About 8 minutes in, Zach H. scored his second of the game off an assist from JJ T.

After missing their first penalty kick, Goffstown capitalized on their second PK getting within one goal. This energized the Goffstown players, and they provided consistent pressure on the Red Hawks for nearly the remainder of the game.

With just a few seconds left, Cam T. won the ball in our own defensive end, dribbled out of trouble and found Jack W. making a run towards the net. With a great move around one defender, Jack scored with the last kick of the game!

With only one substitute the team showed a lot of heart and hustle, with the energizer bunny award going to Harrison G. who was hustling up and down the field all game long.

What a fun way to start the season! Coaches are proud of the way the kids played and look forward to working hard in practice this week.

A HUGE Thank You to Our Volunteer Coaches & Board Members! ❀️⚽️

As we officially get the season underway, we just want to take a minute to say thank you to everyone who volunteers their time to make Red Hawks soccer happen.

What our players and families see on game day is only a small piece of what goes on behind the scenes. There are weeks and months of planning, scheduling, organizing, communicating, problem-solving, and preparing that happen long before that first whistle blows.

And then there are the last-minute things β€” the schedule changes, field issues, rosters, equipment, emails, questions, weather concerns, and all the little things that seem to pop up at the most inconvenient times. Someone is always working behind the scenes to make sure those things get taken care of so our kids can simply show up, play, and enjoy the game.

To our coaches β€” thank you for giving your time, energy, and patience to our players. You’re not just teaching soccer; you’re helping our kids grow, build confidence, learn teamwork, and create memories.

To our board members β€” thank you for all the work that often happens quietly and behind the scenes. A lot of what you do may never be seen or even noticed, but it is a huge part of making this club run.

None of this happens without volunteers. And while we may not always get everything perfect, there are a lot of people working hard to make sure our community’s kids have a positive, organized, and successful soccer experience.

So, before the season gets too crazy, I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who continues to give their time to the Red Hawks. We appreciate you more than you probably realize.
