**WHEN POSSIBILITY BECOMES REAL...**
When I was 17 years old, my dream of competing at the World Championships was taken away by a political decision.
For a long time, I believed that chapter of my life had ended.
Some dreams never completely leave us, though.
They quietly wait...
Waiting for us to believe again.
Tonight, I cleared 1.80 meters in the last pole vault meet of our Summer Series.
Then I stood on the runway looking at *1.95 meters*—a height that would have tied for third place at this year's USATF Masters National Championships for my age group.
I didn't clear it this time- very close!
But for the first time in decades, I didn't see an impossible bar.
I saw a possibility.
That changes everything.
This isn't about a number.
It's about what happens the moment a dream stops feeling impossible and starts feeling attainable.
That feeling is priceless.
I'm incredibly grateful to my phenomenal coaches and my amazing teammates at Pole Vault Miami - your support amd encouragement mean more than you know!
Tonight also reminded me of something I hope you'll remember.
**That dream you've quietly placed on a shelf...**
The one you've convinced yourself is too late.
Too difficult.
Too unrealistic.
It's still there for a reason.
Maybe it isn't asking you to have all the answers.
Maybe it's simply asking you to take the first step.
To decide.
To commit.
To do the work.
Because greatness isn't found on the other side of certainty.
It's found on the other side of courage.
Tonight, a dream I thought I had lost forever began to take shape again.
And I cannot wait to see where this journey leads (although Indoor Nationals in Feb and Indoor World Championships in March are on my calendar)!!!🌟🙏
**Dream again.**
**Commit completely.**

The biggest lesson Australia taught me had nothing to do with public speaking.
I didn't realize how many limiting beliefs I had quietly been carrying until I stepped completely outside my comfort zone.
I traveled halfway around the world, hoping to become a better speaker.
Instead...
I came home seeing myself differently.
For years, I quietly carried stories that many of us tell ourselves.
“Maybe my best years are behind me.”
“Maybe turning 60 means slowing down.”
“Maybe I don't have what it takes.”
Then something unexpected happened.
People I had just met—people I deeply admired and respected—began reflecting something back to me that I couldn't yet see for myself.
They talked about my energy.
My positivity.
My message.
My light.
At first, I smiled, thanked them... and brushed it off.
But somewhere on the long flight home, I realized something.
Maybe they weren't giving me something I didn't have.
Maybe they were simply helping me see what had been there all along.
Sometimes, the people we meet don't change who we are.
They simply reflect back the person we've been all along.
Australia reminded me that our minds often make predictions based on fear...
while life is quietly gathering evidence that those predictions simply aren't true.
As I begin this new decade of life, I no longer believe my best years are behind me.
I believe they're just beginning, and I am so excited for what is ahead. And when your life is driven by purpose and contribution...priceless!!!
So let me ask you...
What limiting belief have you been carrying... that life may already be trying to disprove?

**Gravity is doing its job.**
It isn't trying to stop you.
It's simply doing what it was designed to do.
Fear is the same way.
Self-doubt.
Failure.
Criticism.
Disappointment.
They all have one thing in common.
They pull us down.
Just like gravity.
But here's what fascinates me...
Airplanes don't wait for gravity to disappear before they take off.
Birds don't wait until there is no wind before they fly.
They simply create more lift than gravity can hold down.
Life works the same way.
We spend so much time trying to eliminate fear, waiting until we feel confident enough, ready enough, or perfect enough...
When the real question isn't,
"How do I get rid of gravity?"
It's...
"How do I create more lift?"
For me...
Lift comes from purpose.
From faith.
From consistent practice.
From surrounding myself with people who encourage me.
From choosing courage over comfort.
Gravity will always be there.
But so will the ability to rise.
That's what **The Art of Flying™** is all about.
Not waiting for life to become easier...
Learning how to fly anyway.

**Half of 2026 is already behind us.**
Take a moment to think about that.
Maybe this has been your year. Maybe life has thrown you a few unexpected challenges. Or maybe you've simply been doing your best to keep moving forward.
Wherever you are...
**You are not behind.**
The next chapter of your story is still waiting to be written.
One of the greatest privileges of my work is walking alongside people as they gain clarity, build confidence, and discover they're capable of so much more than they ever imagined.
Recently, one of my coaching clients shared these words:
*"Nancy believed in me before I fully believed in myself."*
Reading her testimonial reminded me why I do what I do.
This isn't about becoming perfect.
It's about gaining clarity, building the habits that create lasting growth, and having the courage to take the next step toward the life you truly want.
If the first half of this year hasn't gone as planned, remember this:
**You don't need a new year to create a new beginning.**
Sometimes, all it takes is one decision.
One conversation.
One courageous step.
The second half of 2026 is yours to write.
If you're ready to stop waiting and start moving toward your next level, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
💙 My coaching programs are designed to help you gain clarity, build the habits of high performance, and create meaningful momentum—whether you're an athlete, entrepreneur, leader, or simply someone ready for more.
If this resonates with you, send me a message. I'd love to connect and see if we're the right fit.
Because this...
**This is the work I am privileged to do.**
**Helping people gain clarity, practice mastery, and soar to their next level.** 🩵✈️

**Back home. Back to the gym. Back to purpose. ❤️**
This photo means more than it appears.
The three of us have something in common: we were each given another chance.
🧠 A brain.
❤️ A heart.
🫁 A lung.
Different stories. Different battles. The same gift: another opportunity to live.
A couple of weeks before I left for Australia, Coach Victor came to the gym after a doctor's appointment and some testing. One look at him, and something didn't feel right.
I couldn't explain it—I just knew.
I insisted we go to the hospital where I work and he was admitted right away.
The heart specialist later told him his heart could have stopped at any moment.
Victor told me I saved his life, but the truth is... I simply listened to what my own journey taught me.
Years ago, when I was facing my brain aneurysm, my intuition told me something was terribly wrong. That decision changed everything. Had I ignored it or waited for someone else to tell me what to do, I would not be here today.
Sometimes your intuition whispers. Sometimes it shouts.
Listen.
You know your body better than anyone else. Be your own advocate. Ask questions. Speak up. Don't ignore what your heart and soul are trying to tell you.
Coming home from Australia, after one of the most life-changing weeks of my career, this photo reminds me why I do what I do.
Our second chances were never meant to end with us.
They were meant to become hope for someone else.
So we're back.
Ready to train.
Ready to grow.
Ready to help others become stronger—in body, mind, and spirit.
Because the greatest way to honor a second chance... is to use it to help someone else find their own greatness and light within.
❤️ Live fully.
