A rain spoiled match but since there was nothing to loose strikers chose to bat first and rest the pics and videos will speak for us... varun as usual with his splendid batting performance and Abhilash and Vibin supporting at each ends helped team to get a compatible score.. thanks to Richard for these special pictures and taking his time to shoot for the club

Winning spree continues .. strikers has registered their 4th win for the season by defeating Spartans at Brian pricolo park.. elected to bat first strikers scored a decent total of 149/ in 28 overs(Abhilash : 42 runs and another big innings from poorna 43 runs helped strikers to achieve this target.. replying back to strikers total, Spartans did pretty good with Daya and Kanaga batting strength but Richard super man catch was the turning point of the game also poorna and ankur special 12 overs took the game of their hands and the end strikers won the game and registered 5 points to their table .. stay tuned for next game against United at John prince park .. let’s rock and roll

After a Terrific win against BCC, strikers are all set to get on with their next game coming Saturday against Spartans .. last week game was fun packed and strikers found some real heroes who saved the day and sealed the big victory .. having won the toss BCCi elected to bat first, the pitch was not supporting batsman at the beginning and this lead to two quick wickets for them in the first 3 overs both Britto and Emmanuel was able to pull the chain but things changed when the third wicket partnership came in and at the end BCCI put a mammoth total of 188/5 in 30 overs.. With a strong batting line up Strikers went ahead chasing the total and Richard and vipin gave the perfect start that any team would dream 3 overs 35/0 with three huge sixes from them .. this started the battle and after three quick wickets poorna and varun took the responsibility to bat sensibily and they moved the score to 130/3 then again couple of wickets fell but poorna stood still at one end then came Suraj who made some quick runs with his explosive batting and this also gained the momentum we lost .. at the end poorna and jimmy took strikers to victory with 2 overs to spare ... this now gives us hope to qualify to playoffs and if it does beleive us we are there to bring in some tough competition ( Way to go strikers )
