June is National Cancer Survivors Month.

Pilates, with it's multitude of positive physical and psychological benefits has shown to enhance life for people with cancer and improves the quality of life in survivors.
Pilates exercises can easily be modified to complement the rehabilitation and recovery during and/or after cancer treatment by regaining strength, flexibility, mobility and body symmetry to name a few, through safe and supportive programs.

Share this information with friends and family who can benefit from a comprehensive Pilates program during their recovery.

What is your favorite choice of beverage? Mine is definitely a good cup of 'java' as I call it.

A new study found that drinking up to 3 or 4 cups of caffeinated or decaf a day can reduce your risk for (fatty) liver problems (including cancer).

A modified Pilates routine can be very advantageous if you have osteoporosis or have suffered a fracture. Pilates strengthens the body, improves (joint) alignment and importantly promotes balance, efficient movement patterns and mental focus.

Get clearance from your doctor and find a Pilates instructor trained in osteoporosis appropriate exercises.
