KOZLOV TENNIS ACADEMY is the project of well-known Russian tennis coach Andrei Kozlov. It is a world-class tennis-training academy for players who are aspiring to compete at the collegiate and/or professional levels. Andrei Kozlov, is a coach, athlete and mentor with the innate ability to build players from the ground up. A former professional player himself, Andrei is a true “developmental” coac
h with the knowledge and experience to mold tennis’ next generation of stars. A dominant player at the junior level, Andrei was ranked in the top 10 in Russia before completing his Master’s Degree in physical education and shifting his focus to coaching. He founded the Kozlov Tennis Academy in 2002 out of Pembroke Pines, Florida, and has since used the academy as platform to develop the tennis skills of young players aspiring to reach the professional level. Andrei has played a significant role in the development of several world class juniors, including the likes of Brendan Evans (former #2 junior in the world), Julia Cohen (currently ranked #135) and Camila Giorgi (currently ranked #145) although most rewarding to him are the many years of hard work that he has put in with his older son, Stefan Kozlov, who is currently the top ranked 14 year old in the world. Andrei’s endless love for the game is apparent in his dynamic and unorthodox coaching strategy, instilling his own enthusiasm into each of his students. His unique coaching techniques create stars out of hopefuls as he works to convert passion and aptitude into success by training the players 8AM-3:30PM everyday. Andrei involves himself in every practice and training session at the academy to ensure that each student receives the attention that they deserve. His philosophy says it all: “He does what it takes to make champions,” and he won’t stop until it happens.
