Pendleton Bulldogs Boys Golf

If you are interested in trying out for boys golf this coming school year, join us at Boscobel Golf Club on Thursday, 6/11 at 6 pm. We will have a practice session on the range and putting green followed by a parent and player meeting at 7:30 where we will discuss our program and its values.

Put a ribbon on our season Friday night with our banquet. Proud of the young men on this squad and looking forward to seeing them continue to develop as golfers and men.

Thank you to all families for making this season special. Thank you to my son, Steven, for helping coach the team. And a big thank you to my lovely wife, Ginny, for being my cart driver, snack provider, and best friend.

Did not want to say goodbye to the season today, but all good things must end. I am so proud of this group. They fought their guts out, did everything the right way, and represented Bulldog nation with class. We finished a few shots here and there from qualifying for the state tournament. Nothing but kudos to a great group.

These guys came together and had a good round today at the region tournament at Arrowhead Pointe. Walhalla was the winner followed by our Bulldogs in 2nd. Hogan led the way followed by Crew and Andrew with twin scores. All three earned all region honors. Cade and Wyatt tied for our final counting score.

More work ahead with upper state tournament on Monday.

Boys had a good day at Pickens GC playing Riverside and Liberty. We ended tied with Liberty. Cade led the way with Connor, Evans, and Wyatt contributing to our team score.

Last home match of the season at Boscobel Golf Club - Senior night!

Boys hung tough today against a tough field in Wren's Hurricane Invitational. Scraped together 4 scores in the 80s and dropped one spot to 24th out of 34 schools. Crew, Hogan, and Andrew shot identical scores while Cade finished off the team score. Tip of the cap to our host who provided a super environment for two days.

Guys had a solid team score today in day 1 of Hurricane Invitational at Southern Oaks. Crew led the way with a 79.

JV guys lost a tough match today at Oconee CC against West-Oak. We gained some good experience and hopefully learned some lessons that will pay off later. We were led by Connor followed by Evans, Nate, and Waylon. Good efforts also from Noah and Drayson.

Bulldogs ended up 3 strokes short today vs BHP on senior day. Guys played hard and our two seniors led the way. Andrew was our low man followed by Parker and Crew. Hogan and Cade tied for our final counting score. It was a competitive day and the whole team enjoyed a fun meal where we celebrated the seniors and even a "birthday".
