The Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT) is a 20+ miles bicycle and pedestrian recreational trail and transportation corridor through public and private lands in Lawrence and Hopewell Townships, Mercer County, New Jersey. The idea for the LHT grew out of a commitment to improving the quality of life for all who live or work in the region. The LHT supports an active, livable, and sustainable community with alternative forms of transportation to reduce reliance on automobiles. We also promote health and fitness, recreation, and outdoor education.

Grab your bike, decorate it, and join us for a fun night out at the 2026 Full Moon Ride & Walk on Saturday, September 26! ✨🚲

Check-in opens at 7 PM at Rosedale Park. Ride and walk begin at 7:30 PM. Registration is required for all attendees, cost is $30 for riders and walkers, free for spectators. Registration is here: https://lhtrail.org/annual-fullmoonride/

The LHT 100-Mile Challenge official ended yesterday! Huge congratulations to everyone who logged miles, check out the image to spot your name in our official 100-Mile Club!
Finishers are invited to join us this Saturday at 9AM in Rosedale Park! We'll be taking a group photo, handing out stickers, and chatting before Saturday Morning Walking Club kicks off at 9:30.
All finishers receive a FREE ticket to the Full Moon Ride or Walk.

We need bikes!

Spokes & Skills is an LHT youth cycling program teaching kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County how to ride, maintain, and care for their own bikes along with safety taught by Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association and Capital Health .

We are in search of 24” and 26” wheel bikes to help get more kids riding.

Have a youth bike your family has outgrown? Donate it to Spokes & Skills and help connect more kids with riding!

All bikes accepted at the Bike Exchange. Bikes can be in any condition.
