Weekend Recap: 5/23 - 5/24

“A Taste of 9U”

Learning how to compete at the 9U level is a process, and these boys embraced the challenge head-on with great attitudes and a willingness to learn.

They were outstanding this weekend. Even though we didn’t win every game, they competed hard in every single one and never let their emotions control them. Growth doesn’t happen without challenges, and they rose to the occasion. There was so much development from this group throughout the weekend.

There were countless great plays, moments of teamwork, and confident responses in every game. The boys continued to battle, support one another, and play the game as a team.

Proud of every one of them and proud to have them represent the Yardhouse Gorillas.

The boys went 1-1 in pool play today. We are back at it again tomorrow @ 8:30am. 💪🏿💪🏿🖤💛

The Gorillas are taking on the 9u bracket today.
