💙 Checking in on our PRA family! 💙

We hope everyone is staying safe and doing okay after the storm. ❤️ We’re thinking of all our members and their families and hope you’re all safe and beginning to recover.

Please know that our posts and responses may be sporadic as we deal with the aftermath and wait for power and internet services to be restored. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Most importantly, take care of yourselves, check on one another, and stay safe. We’re a running community, but we’re also a family. 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Sending love to everyone, and we look forward to being back in touch soon!

A big thank you to all of you!

SOMEONE YOU LOVE IS COMING HOME BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE SHOWED UP. ❤️

To our linemen, police officers, sheriff’s deputies, EMS crews, firefighters, Coast Guard, EMA personnel, dispatchers, nurses and DOT crews THANK YOU.

Behind every uniform is a person with a family, a home and worries of their own. You don’t stop being a parent, a spouse or somebody’s child when your shift starts. You carry all of that with you while answering the call to help someone else.

Thank you for the hands pulling people to safety. For the calm voice answering a terrified 911 caller. For the care beside a hospital bed. For the crews restoring power, clearing roads, removing debris and coordinating help through exhausting hours.

We may never know your name. We may never see what it took to get help to our door. But the person you bring home, the voice you steady and the life you help save mean everything to somebody.

And to your families thank you for sharing your people with us. We know waiting for that “I’m safe” message can feel like forever.

Please give these crews patience, room to work and kindness. Their lives matter just as much as the lives they’re working to protect.

From Gulf Coast Severe Weather & Tropics: we appreciate every one of you. Please take care of each other and make it home safely.

There’s someone waiting for you, too. ❤️

❤️ Stay safe, everyone! ❤️

With the hurricane approaching, please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. 🌧️🙏

We hope to see you all NEXT Saturday, October 17th, at 7:30 AM for our PRA Day at parkrun at RecPlex North! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Until then, stay safe, look after one another, and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon! 💙
