Ready to get the year going

We are proud to announce that Gold Glove Elite was accepted and will compete in the Prospectwire Southeast Championships in June and the Prospectwire World Championships in July. We will continue to update as more events are added to the schedule!

As the high school season nears, we are in the early stages of organizing our 2016 summer program. We are looking forward to building off what was another successful summer in 2015. We will compete in approximately 5 events between June - July. We are looking for players interested and willing to put in the work to play at the next level. We have roster spots available for players in the 2016 - 2018 grad classes. If you or anyone you know may be interested please contact us. Congrats to former Elite member Drew Labounty on being selected to compete in the prestigious Cape Cod League next summer. Drew is a junior and the starting SS at the University of South Alabama. Keep up the good work Drew and congratulations!

Congratulations to Logan Hill and the West Virginia Black Bears for winning the NYPL championship. Logan finished the season with a .297 BA, 7 HR's, and finished 2nd among the league with 45 RBI's, one behind the leader. Logan has shown the true path that baseball can hold for anyone. Continue working, and we look forward to seeing what the future has in store.

Pensacola State College is holding a fall Prospect Camp on Saturday September 26, 2015. These individual showcases are a tremendous opportunity to showcase your abilities in front of multiple schools from the area. If you are interested, please visit their website for more info.

Pensacola State Baseball Camps - Upcoming Pensacola Baseball Camps at Pensacola State are open to any and all entrants and are only limited by number, age, grade level and/or gender in accordance with NCAA rules.

The University of South Alabama is holding their first fall Prospect Camp on Sunday September 6, 2015. This event is a tremendous opportunity for a player to showcase his abilities in front of multiple colleges. On average, 10-20 other collegiate coaches will be on hand from around the southeast. The cost for the event is $150. There are two sessions, morning and afternoon, for you to choose from to fit your schedule. Former Gold Glove Elite member Logan Hill has been on a tear since joining the West Virginia Black Bears (Single A Affiliate- Pirates). Currently Logan is second in BA, and leads the league with 40 RBI's. Keep up the good work Logan!

Yesterday morning our Gold Glove Elite family grew. We are excited to announce the newest addition of the GGE family to everyone. Coach Larry and his wife Sarah had their baby girl, Sophia Elizabeth Scapecchi. What a great time for Larry, and we know you and Sarah will be great parents! Sophia came into the world weighing a whopping 7 lbs, 9 oz, and very healthy. Welcome to the family Sophia! Congratulations to Larry and Sarah!
