The fall practice schedule: Monday and Wednesday 7:00pm - 9:00pm, and 5:00 - 7:00pm on Friday, in the teaching gym all three days.

No experience or gear needed to start! Hope to see you there!

We had 42 fencers competing in open longsword!

HEMA Scorecard HEMA Scorecard is a free online software application for running Historical European Martial Arts tournaments and making the information easily accessible.

Our club made it to SIFA in Clemson last weekend! Amelia took 6th and Kira 7th out of 19 in Women's Individual Epee. And Jonathan with 18th out of 44 in Men's Individual Epee.

The Men's Epee lost to KSU on the Team events with 12 school represented with some great bouts. And the Women's lost narrowly (with the finals going down to 4-4 in Bouts and 4-4 in Points) to FSU.

 

We held a tournament (foil and epee) last weekend and Kira took 2nd in foil! Amazing job!

Started fencing: Spring 2024

What drew you to fencing: i saw it at the student engagement fair and it looked cool so i thought I'd try it.

Favorite weapon and favorite thing about fencing:  Epee because its quick it takes  skill to make sure only your light goes off. I like fencing because it sword fighting made safe. How doesn't like to play with swords?!
