Parents and supporters....In light that we have received 2, yes,only 2 responses to our requests for volunteers for this Friday's spring game....

Your Wildcats need YOU!!

Volunteering is essential to run a football program.

Home games simply cannot happen without everyone donating a few hours during the season.
Our dedicated coaches need your help to make it the best season possible for the players.

Q: How long will I have to do the job I volunteer for?

A: That depends on the role you volunteer for. Team Support Committees are dedicated to their specific team for the entire season, ensuring that all player needs are met at each practice and game (primarily, water at practices and pre game meals). Game day volunteers sign on for a single home game, for a specific team(freshman, JV, Varsity), for a variety of different roles. There are only five home games in the regular season.

Q: Will my game day volunteering make me miss my child's game?

A: Absolutely NOT. The Wildcats will not ask any parent to fulfill a volunteer position in which they would not be able to see their child's event. We always recommend JV/Freshman parents volunteer on Varsity games and Varsity parent volunteer on JV/Freshman game. Opportunities before and after games are available as well.

And we all know Chain gang has the best seat in the house!!

All parents are expected to volunteer in some capacity and will be provided with opportunity during the season and playoffs.

Q: "What the heck do I actually have to do if I volunteer to be the __________?"

Chain Crew:

Description: Standing down on the sidelines using the down and distance markers. Basic knowledge of football is helpful but not necessary. The referee informs you of exactly what to do and where to go throughout the game. It is the most "physical" of all the volunteer jobs as you will be instructed to move up and down the field but it is not stressful.

Concessions:
Assist with selling of snacks and drinks.

Pre-game meals:
Pick up, deliver and set up food for Thurs and Friday games. Need to be available at 2pm on those days.

There are also behind the scene opportunities as well...fundraising marketing, social media, website, special projects...

This program and the experience that your player has is all dependent on the work we all put in..
