Common questions & answers we get from people interested in training.
• we only do No-Gi. And we do it everyday.
• you pay month to month. Keep it simple.
• you can happily purchase our gear but it’s not mandatory. • why would you not be allowed to cross train? You’re a paying customer. Too often gyms tell their students they can’t cross train. Honestly in my opinion if you say that , that’s a red flag🚩🚩what could your coach be afraid of?
• Jiu Jitsu is for all. no combat experience needed, no sports experience needed jist a willingness to try something challenging.
•Some gyms say you have to reach a certain level before learning Leg Locks. That just doesn’t make sense. We teach all of Jiu Jitsu in the beginning. Leglocks are just as crucial as wrestling in jiu jitsu. Make sure you learning all of it!
• there’s no guarantee after 2 years you get a blue belt. That’s average time. Often people get it before that time often people take longer. Your attendance is a crucial part of training. But you retaining and applying the knowledge is the most important. It’s a longer/shorter journey for everyone. Put the work in and the belt will change color.

Again these are the standards at .jiujitsu not every gym will agree. Find the gym standards that fit you.
