Saturday, 6 June 2026 - Storms in the area, along with the accompanying crosswinds and overcast skies, made for less-than-ideal flying conditions. Still, I wanted to get some flying in, and I had already planned to help Pilot Dylan set up and test his latest aircraft.
Despite being interrupted by a few pop-up showers, we managed several flights. I flew the Freewing F-14A Tomcat 64mm, which still needs a bit more tweaking and testing under better conditions. I also flew the Freewing F-22A Raptor 90mm V2, which I can now confidently say is fully dialed in and locked in.
As an added bonus, I completed successful test flights on Pilot Dylan's E-flite Habu and XFly F/A-18F Blue Angels. Both flew well and gave him a solid starting point for future flights.
Considering the weather, it turned out to be a productive day at the field with several successful flights and valuable setup work accomplished.

Friday 5 June 2026 - A little longer video this time, as I was able to capture three maiden flights.
The first was a Freewing F-14A Tomcat 64mm that I assembled using parts from an ARF kit along with components salvaged from last week's crash landing. The second was Pilot Colin's ME262, which he rebuilt after another club member crashed it on its original maiden flight. The third was Pilot Albert's 300NG gasser, which finally took to the skies for its long-awaited maiden.
I'm happy to report that all three flights were successful!
I also managed to get in a few flights with my Freewing F-22A Raptor (01) 80mm, which performed great as always.
Unfortunately, the trip had to be cut short as I needed to take Tammy to a doctor's appointment, and the winds were beginning to pick up. Even so, it was a great day at the field with successful maidens, good company, and plenty of flying.

A thermal image captured near Area 51 allegedly shows a previously unseen next-generation aircraft design with cranked-kite wings and canards, which is now spurring many theories online.
The authenticity of the image and the related footage was confirmed to us by Anders Otteson, the man behind the popular Uncanny Expeditions YouTube channel.
