I suck at pacing. Also, I am learning how to do it better but with help from my OT who works with ME/CFS patients. It’s hard when people function better around you and you’re trying to be present and do what you gotta do. I can’t do everything to take care of myself by myself. I need help. I also have a stubborn ego that runs in my family. We tend to push too hard. Also the dancer in me. 😂
I did not listen to my body.
Time to really learn this lesson.
Perrin technique is restarted. Hoping to keep that going. I also have a new worksheet to help me pace better. I gotta do the work to stabilize. To keep my baseline from getting too low. It’s also the emotional toll that takes it out of you. That and years of trauma.
Illness and go go go personalities don’t go together well!
Gotta just stop pushing so hard. It’s harder than you think.
I went outside for a bit. Then back to my heated blanket inside. 😂
