Congratulations on your Maine Moose Permit!

We do big game recovery for bear, deer and moose here in Northern Maine! We are located right off Beaver brook road, in Perham Maine. We cover zones 2, 3, 5 & 6.

We are fully licensed with the state and are guides as well. Please keep our number close as it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!!

T-Minus 6 days until the coveted Maine Moose Lottery in Acton Maine!!!! We are beyond excited to announce that Rustic Retreat Lodge and Dead North Adventures are doing a FREE Moose Gear Basket Giveaway at the Lottery!

The festivities kick off Friday June 19th at the Acton Fairgrounds at 8am!! Our drawing will be held on Saturday June 20th at 3pm. If your not here when we call your name......no worries we will send it to you!

Come stop by our booths (Dead North Adventures and DNA Tracking and Recovery to get some information, talk hunting, meet us and book a hunt or an adventure in the North Maine Woods!

Dead North Adventures has some opens for bear season and would like to remind everyone that the Maine Moose Lottery is now open until May 18, 2026. You can apply online. We are happy to help you apply, give us a call 207-930-5935!!

Another happy hunter in the books thanks to Moose! This nice buck was shot on Maine Residents day in Linneus, Maine.
Moose went in to track just over 12 hours past when the buck was shot and tracked about 400+ yards to recover him for this grateful hunter!

Awesome job Moose!!! Our pups are doing great this fall! Please keep our number handy as you never know who will need it! 207-930-5935
