Today I am so glad to be an American, standing on the shoulders of the 14 generations that came before me . Knowing how brave those first generations were to get on the Mayflower not even knowing for sure if there was such a place as America. Not knowing if they would live. And going anyway. Thank you Leonard Harriman for my birthright. Thank you for marking ever generation with the promise that every generation would bear the initial L Harriman . And now 14 generations later , Linda Harriman Lalande is grateful for your courage.
