On the evening of October 24th, Perry RC Flyers will be partnering with the Middle Georgia Astronomical Society at our field for a fly-in, cookout and star party. The agenda (weather permitting of course) is that any RC flyers are invited to fly until sunset and attend the co-club cookout. We will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs with "pot luck" sides prior to sunset, the astronomers will be setting up telescopes and spend the rest of the evening gazing the universe. All are welcome to stay, in fact, I intend to bring my telescope out of "storage" and join the fun.I would like a PRCF head count so we know how much meat to buy. All are welcome to bring a dish to pass, but that is not required. Just come and enjoy!!
For all interested, there will be a Special Events planning meeting in Wayne's garage on Wednesday, 10/14/2026 at 6:00 PM. Again, as usual, all are invited. There is at least one of the MGAS principle member expected to attend. to assist in the planning.
Hope to see you at the meeting and the Star Party!!! We'd like this to not only be a success, but an annual event.
