For over 25 years, Hoops America has helped athletes develop into confident players, leaders, and students. Our program has become one of New Jersey’s premier basketball development programs because we don’t just teach basketball, we teach athletes how to learn.

Our curriculum develops:

Making Moves. Finishing Strong.

Will and Henry break down the complete process of attacking the basket—from understanding how to land in Point Zero without establishing a pivot foot, to using misdirection and creating a lengthy, explosive first step into the move.

Then it’s all about the finish. 💥 Finish strong at the rim, rebound the make or miss, land with balance, and freeze the action. From there, survey the floor before getting back to the line with dynamic, creative ball handling.

Coach Tom also emphasizes a critical part of development: be willing to take criticism, stay open-minded, and embrace the opportunity to learn. Growth happens when you’re coachable.

Details matter. Footwork matters. Balance matters. Mindset matters.

Our Open House is for all current and returning Hoops America athletes as we kick off the 2026 Fall Season together.
