Peru Boy Scout Troop 123, Cub Scout Pack 3709, and the Peru Veterans Memorial Group just finished putting flags on veterans’ graves in the Peru City Cemetery. For the first time any of us can remember, we ran out of flags.
Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude.” — Harry S. Truman

Happy birthday to Mrs. O’Dell!! She does so much for our Troop and I don’t know what we would do without her. She’s not on Facebook so if you see her out and about this week (or at the meeting on Thursday), wish her a very happy birthday. And I’m sure offers of coffee or regular Coke would not be turned down. Happy birthday, Mrs. O’Dell!!
