Still smiling from last weekend at Exchequer — our second race of the season. We’re so proud of every one of our riders. It was awesome to see the progress in their riding and racing, with some great results, plenty of grit, and lots of valuable learning along the way.

Beyond the racing, this weekend was everything we love about this team: camping, laughing, building friendships, and getting to know each other better. We’re still such a young team, and that makes weekends like this even more special. You can feel this group growing stronger every time we get together.

We’ve been riding the high all week and reliving the fun from an amazing weekend in La Grange.

Huge thanks to our parents and coaches for all the support, and for volunteering with the NorCal League and alongside our friends at A-Team to help create such a top-notch experience for these kids. It takes a village, and we’re grateful for ours.

We are headed to Exchequer. 🔥🐓

Ready to race hard, cheer loud, and bring the stoke.

Let’s go, Hot Wings!

Golden light, fast laps, and the Hot Wings out there doing Hot Wings things. Wednesday night at the B17 Repack Racing Summit Shorty was a beautiful one, and the crew is looking strong, fast, and more dialed every week. Exchequer is up next, and we’re feeling ready. 🔥🙌🚵

🔥🪽 P-Town Hotwings Bike Maintenance Night 🪽🔥

Huge thanks to all the riders and coaches who showed up for our very first Petaluma Composite Bike Maintenance Night Clinic of the season - the stoke, curiosity, and dirty hands made it a big win.

A massive shoutout to Mike’s Bikes of Petaluma for opening the shop after hours just for us, and especially to Ian for sharing his time, knowledge, and patience with our team. We’re incredibly grateful for partners who invest in young riders and help grow confident, capable cyclists.

Learning bike maintenance isn’t just about fixing flats or tuning gears, it’s about self-reliance, safety, and respect for your equipment. When racers understand how their bike works, they ride with more confidence, solve problems on the trail, and stay focused on racing instead of worrying about mechanicals. These skills carry far beyond race day and help build lifelong riders.

Thanks again to everyone who made the night happen! this is what strong team culture looks like... 💪🚵‍♂️

🔥🚴‍♂️ Happy Giving Tuesday, Hotwings Family! 🚴‍♀️🔥

Today’s a great reminder of how lucky we are to ride, train, and grow together in such an awesome community. If you’re looking for ways to give back this Giving Tuesday, here are a few organizations that directly support the trails, programs, and opportunities our riders depend on:

🌲 Redwood Trails Alliance
Our local trail stewards. They maintain and advocate for the very trails we ride across Sonoma County. Supporting them = supporting rideable, sustainable singletrack for our kids.

🏔️ California Mountain Biking Coalition
Advocates statewide for mountain bike access, better trail development, and bike-friendly policy. Their work helps expand and protect places youth riders can explore.

🚵‍♂️ NorCal Interscholastic Cycling League
Our regional league that delivers the races, coaching support, and community our team is part of. Donations directly impact programs that benefit the Hotwings and other NorCal teams.

🇺🇸 National Interscholastic Cycling Association
NICA is the national organization behind youth mountain biking in the U.S. Their work supports coach development, safety standards, and nationwide expansion so more kids can ride and thrive.

🌳 Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation
Regional Parks provides trail access, race venues, and outdoor recreation programs. Donations help them maintain and expand the spaces we love to ride.

Whether you give time, a donation, or simply help spread the word, every bit strengthens the community that supports our riders.

Thanks for being part of this team… on and off the bike.

🔥🐔🚴‍♂️ Go Hotwings! 🚴‍♀️🐔

Love seeing our team giving back! Big thanks to for all you do - so proud to be part of it!

We want to recognize and thank four outstanding riders: Torsten, Carter, Connor and George, for volunteering their time and energy for serious trail work at Helen Putnam Regional Park. And our coaches and parents of course!

In partnership with Redwood Trails Alliance, our team helped install in-sloped turns, build stone and wood steps, and help realign trails at Helen Putnam. These improvements reduce erosion, make shared-use safer and more fun for mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders alike.

It’s one thing to enjoy riding and practicing on these trails, it’s another to contribute to their upkeep and improvement. Thank you to our riders for stepping up, and to RTA for leading this project and for helping our community ride and enjoy together with respect.

Let’s keep building, riding and sharing. Go Hot Wings! sonomacountyparks norcalleague nationalmtb
