River City Renegades

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that the River City Renegades roller derby team has officially disbanded. We have not had a full squad since well before the pandemic, and we’ve lost even more since. Without the skaters and support, the few remaining team members took a vote and we have decided to dissolve the organization. We want to send out our sincerest thanks to all of our fans, volunteers and supporters. We love you. We had an awful lot of fun, made some lasting friendships, and had a good run.

Stay tuned, we’ll soon be sharing the charity to whom we will be donating the remainder of our coffers.

Second practice of the new year! We’re easing back into our routine after taking December off. Today we did some footwork drills, basic skills training and lots of laps in order to get all the muscles used to working again. We’re all looking forward to a little team weight lifting sesh before practice Sunday. 🏋🏻‍♀️ If you live in Mackinaw City or the surrounding area and are interested in joining our team as a skater, referee or volunteer, DM us for more details!
