I want to take a moment to shout out not only one of our outstanding trainers but also 3 amazing members. They have all been putting in some serious work and tomorrow they will be hitting the stage at the 2026 NPC Grand Rapids Bodybuilding Championships! The time, effort, and dedication they have all put forth has been beyond words and it has been something else to watch it all come together. So good luck tomorrow, you all are going to do great, and I will be there cheering you on! Peter Walstrom, Matt Davis, Katelyn Goodrich and Libby Austin

I have heard people say that exercise is cheaper than therapy, movement is my medicine or "I'm just going through it, so if you see me crying on the stair stepper, don't worry, ill be fine". We might be half way through May but that doesn't mean to not mention that May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Although typically said in a joking manner, many studies show there is a deep connection with being physically active and how it benefits mental health. Whether it be going to the gym, taking a fitness class, going for a bike ride or even just getting out for a walk, just 20 to 30 minutes of physical activity a day can calm anxiety, act as a buffer for stress and may even help combat depression. Taking care of your body is good for your mind, so find a way to add some activity to your day.
