Black Magic Sportfishing

Another successful Detroit River trip. The weather was challenging with high winds and 3-4 foot waves but we still managed to get our fish and out 8 keepers in the box with only 2.5 hours of fishing time.

Did a little coho fishing this morning. Had 10 bites and put 5 in the box. Lake Huron is still kickin'

Had a nice day on the water scooping up our limit of Walleye in the Detroit River with one of my oldest friends.

Panko crusted Saginaw Bay walleye and Brussel sprouts. This is why we do what we do!

Had a great weekend back doing what I love. We boated plenty of Chinook and Coho in the 4 day trip and managed to put 3 over 30lbs on the boat and managed 10-20 bites per trip.
The bite is not what it used to be, but the fishing is still great out of Frankfort and the lake is healthy.

An update on our 2020 fishing season is long overdue.

With a heavy heart we have decided against fishing Salmon and Lake Trout for the 2020 season.

We may work a tournament or two into the program if they are allowed to restart, and we will be opening some dates around the tournaments for potential charters.

NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS! We are working on some potential ideas for a Muskie and Walleye fishing season on Lake St Clair; however, with the size of the vessel and COVID-19 Guidelines we will most likely limit our maximum occupancy to 3-4 anglers.

We appreciate the continued support of our patrons and look forward to servicing your fishing needs as best we can for 2020 while looking forward to getting back to Salmon and Lake Trout for 2021!
