You guys, this was some great advice that I received. Someone broke it down for me and said “while you are young, while your responsibilities are low, try everything”. Even if you do 1 million things, one is bound to work.

story time‼️ I always prided myself on being a very ambitious person. Sometimes I called myself overly ambitious, however after undergrad I felt directionless. I did not know what my own life was giving LOL I Felt like I had to have everything figured out. But after receiving that piece of advice I started dabbling into so many different things. I Lost 56 pounds on my fitness journey , took an interest in graphic design, took an interest in photography, started modeling, started writing more, sold detox teas, did some consulting and most importantly started this business‼️

I remember a friend saying “ what are you trying to get into now”. Not going to lie I felt clowned 🥲 Friends and family looked at me as if I was directionless. But I have never felt more with direction. I knew that I had to keep moving forward and doing new things. The thing with me is, I never stopped trying something new.

Everything I did… I just went for. Standing here now seeing that my business is my primary source of income, i’m happy that I got clowned. I’m happy I didn’t let the clowning stop me from trying out so many things.

My first three weeks of this business I was able to scale to four figures (holla!). I did this by asking myself a foundational Branding question: “what do I want to be known for?” I did No marketing by the way. I thought about why I needed to exist and who I would help... that’s branding.

▪️Branding will help you set your business apart.. Think about it, there may be 100 other people who do exactly what you do but how does your brand stand apart? What makes your brand worth investing in? And most importantly… Why haven’t you started yet? 🥲
