First attempt at weight-shifting from backstance through longstance!! Prepping for competition season 2023!!
It's wonderful to watch a student move through curriculum at their pace, instead of being held back by arbitrary standards and gatekeeping dictated by belt-level. There are schools who completely omit these details in favor of base memorization, out of fear that students will be frustrated with the difficulty and quit. What's often forgotten by mainstream schools is that regardless of their membership status, some students are simply ready to progress, and should always have the opportunity to do more. When your goal is to support athletes, you stop holding students back based on their level, and start teaching to their strengths!

Head Taekwondo coach and co-founder Bella is a Kukkiwon certified 4th dan black belt in Taekwondo. With over 15 years of experience coaching in the Philadelphia area, her programs take an "Athletics First" approach to USAT Taekwondo. Having completed the American College of Sports Medicine's certification program for personal training, she strives to provide comprehensive fitness education for her students in addition to refined technical training.

Director "Kevin" Yusang Jung founded the Sajabunshin Varisty Club combining the traditional aspects of Kukkiwon Taekwondo training with the all-American varsity athletics mentality. He utilizes his experience training and competing in South Korea, MMA training in the USA, along with his activity with the international combat sports community to develop and provide Goal-Oriented Training for members of Sajabunshin Taekwondo.
